How many seasons do you guys think I could a fram ultra on my lawn mower? I'll still change the oil every season

I'm changing my ultra every other year. I put about 20hrs a year on mine. Kawasaki fr651v.

For me, and ultra every other year, is not even a cost consideration.

According to the CV491 manual the interval is every 200 hrs
On a clean engine, almost forever.
I change mine every season but every other is fine also.

How many hours on the oil? Kawasaki specs 100hr oil interval changes and you change the filter every other time. I change both every 100hrs because the filter is only like $4
Three or four years of use and it will look brand new inside. Seriously.
I ran the linked Napa Gold 1348 7+ years on Kohler "Courage" (oxymoron) engine. Based on that anecdote, my answer for the Ultra would be, a lotta seasons.

Considering the cost of the oil and replacement engine, I change the synthetic oil and filter every year.
once per year with any low cost oil filter tyat fits. [censored], ST, motorcraft.
I only own a B&S mower w/o a filter . If I owned a mower with a filter , I would change it , when I changed oil , every spring .

I use the Ea15k09 on my ExMark's Kawasaki engine.
IMHO it is very important on the courage engines to prefill the oil filter , let it soak, and fill it more until it is completely full. You should even carefully push open the anti drain back valve and vent any air. The instruction manual says to prefill the filter, and the OE filter is without drain back valve to accommodate this.
It is full flow pressure lube, and the oil pump is rather small, it basically runs without oil for 20 or 30 seconds if the filter is dry. This is too much and eventually causes a thrown rod. My neighbor did not believe me, and at 200 ish hour his threw a rod, severely scored crank. Mine is at over 350 now running like a top. His now has a briggs salvaged from a mower that flew off the trailer. I have his courage carb, starter, fuel pump, coil, voltage regulator and muffler.

The Kawi FR730V engine I have says to change oil at 100 hours and filter at 200.
