This was off a Honda Civic Si with the K20. Been in service for about 6 months and 16500km. 75% highway and 25% rural driving.

Was used with QSUD 5w30, added more QSUD 5w30 in and used a Napa Gold 7356. Forgot to take a picture of ADBV, spring / bypass and baseplate. But it was all good. ADBV was very pliable and soft.

Have the same filter on the same engine right now. I may continue to use these as long as they go on sale regularly. I also really like the grip because the filter location on the K20 is much less than ideal.

Looks great.

Run: No, why would I do such a thing?

The used oil from this is set aside for you.

Car51: No, thank you. You post wayyyy too many C&Ps on here and you deserve more credit.

SLCraig: Yeah, this isn't the best car to work on. Its fun to drive but not fun to work on. I have to jack up both sides and slide jack stands under and remove the passenger side wheel. Then crank it to the right to remove it.

Does that mean you've now excepted the fact that center tube holes may have a slightly flared edge on them from the manufacturing process, like many other brands also show to have?

No it means i check the filters before i install them to make sure they look good so far so good.. When i open the box and they look wonky i don't buy them. But these days i inspect filters very carefully..

Stewie: Yeah, our weather here isn't bad. Unless you head up north.

Tony10s: You're welcome.

Edwardh1: I couldn't see why not. Especially something that's driven on the highway all the time plus starting with good oil and a clean engine.

ZeeOSix: Sooner or later he might accept that closed louvers will be completely fine.

I don't think anyone likes closed louvers.

I put this filter on my Civic too. I hope it does as well.Got trashed yesterday at Napa for buying PUP 0w20 and using Fram Ultra Synthetic filter over Napa Gold. Oil was 5.99qt on wholesale and my buddy works for Honda dealership told me to use FU or M1. He was mgr at Napa prior and said he wouldn't use the Gold on the R18Z Civic. I spent about 200.00 a month at napa, kinda feel taken for granted.
