Fram TG3614 C&P

Oil filter was on our Cub cadet LTX1040 with the 19hp Kohler engine. Changed the factory fill at 50 hours.

Last oil change:
Pennzoil Conventional 10w30
Fram TG3614
Changed at 100 hours in two years.

This oil change:
Pennzoil High Mileage 10w30 (wanted to use up the rest of the stash)
Fram TG3614

Filter looked great:

After doing so many C&Ps, I'm starting to get quick with the tin snips. A filter usually only takes me about 5 minutes now lol

Looks fine. The MC FL910s does a yeoman job too in that application.
I have the same TG on my EFI Kohler.

It appears you have ruined a perfectly good filter.

I think if I ever get any OPE that requires a filter I will just used a Ultra after the first change consider it a lifetime filter.

Agreed. I'm trying with the idea of trying two oci's on it next. Going 100 hours

You could leave that filter on for the life of the engine

Yeah 50 hours, per the manual.

The problem with that is you could end up with one of the few defective ones.
