Fram TG10060 C&P

This filter was in use for 5,369 miles over 8 months on the Chrysler 200 with the 2.4L MultiAir. The car had 173,059 miles on it at that time.
I did the oil change on the Chrysler back on July 5th, so it sat in the garage for a month before I got around to cutting it open today.
This filter was replaced with a Mobil 1 M1-113A at that time. From here forward, it’ll be Mobil 1 or Carquest Premium oil filters on everything. (Unless something happens to their quality.)

Hard to see in the pics but were there any significant wrinkles in the leaf spring?

Looks like it did a good job and the Mobil 1 / Carquest Premium is a great choice.

Since you asked that question, I went and dug this out of the trash just for you!

All of those lines you see are wrinkles in the metal, some are barely noticeable to touch, others are pretty obvious.

I tried to get it at a good angle to show the wrinkles.

I mostly used XGs, but from time to time I’d grab a TG if they were out of XGs. Mobil or CQ Premiums from here forward.

Since you asked that question, I went and dug this out of the trash just for you!

All of those lines you see are wrinkles in the metal, some are barely noticeable to touch, others are pretty obvious.

I tried to get it at a good angle to show the wrinkles.

Probably has some matching wrinkles in the fiber end cap. The ruffled leaf springs seal better on them.

TG of a few years ago were a favorite. First Brands eventually ruined them. Gone now so no matter other than getting sucked into grief counseling for @Zee09 , he has not taken their departure well.
