Valvoline Restore and Protect 0W-20 came out and went back in (never again--30 weight next time).

I detail driving habits and oil change history in this thread.

I couldn't get the media out. Not sure how you guys do it so well. I couldn't find any debris in it, unlike in my Toyota! Filter seemed quite robust. I bought this before I checked here and knew about the issues. Carquest Premium went back on.

I also upsized a little bit too. This filter is tiny. I used the same filter used on a Nissan GT-R. Worked great.

I'm sure I missed one of the official C&P photos. I made an absolutely righteous mess doing this though.

Great work sir. Thank You

What's the story why? I'd go xW-30 too.
I bought two 5 quart jugs of VRP 0W-20 a while ago and needed to use the last one up. I bought before I did appropriate research on oil viscosity (0W-20 is recommended in the owner's manual). Will change again this fall. I do 6 month OCIs due to frequent short trips and not spending much time at operating temperature.

Yes. Good eye. It's a little taller than the recommended OEM size. They are both small, but the OEM size feels like a lawn mower filter. You can see in the pics. Laughably small. Like a thimble.
