I have much less of a problem with the end caps than the lack of media between them. Never did pry an answer put of the Filter Guy on the quality of Fram media. Well, it could be 2-3 times as good as everybody else's. Even if it was, ST, Stp, Purolator, AC, and some others would still be cheaper and just as good.
