Well shoot in that case, TG is a complete waste of a product line. Might as well just focus on EG as the base, and XG as the only premium offering.
It's priced right in between. I don't see it as a waste of a product line.Well shoot in that case, TG is a complete waste of a product line. Might as well just focus on EG as the base, and XG as the only premium offering.
I think they raised the prices in store, but on their website they are lower and there's even a popup that says they price match their own online price.Update:
I stepped in Walmart today and cruised by the oil section. I saw that they raised the prices on the Extra Guard filters. The ones I use (PH2 and PH7317) were $3.88 just last week. Now they are $4.20 and $4.12 respectively. I just ordered one for my truck on Amazon and it's still $3.88.

Yeah. I wonder why it's more expensive since it takes fewer resources to make itI saw that today. $5.14 for a little 6607?
Could be that Fram doesn't crank as many out when they fire up the 6607 production line, so it would basically cost them more per unit to make vs a more popular filter like the 7317.Yeah. I wonder why it's more expensive since it takes fewer resources to make it
