It seems like it may be a renaming of the orange cans they use at Walmart service centers. Checked their product line up on their website and didn't see anything about "Drive" but did find this one next to the "Titanium" filter. https://www.fram.com/products/consumer-products/oil-filters/fram-force-oil-filter/

I think this is what @TrainingPolicy was talking about in the thread linked below. We talked about AAP offering an entry level oil filter from Fram to take the place of the outgoing Carquest branded oil filters. I suggested that AAP would simply rebrand the Fram Extra Guard and I am going to go ahead and say that this is what the Fram Drive oil filter is since it is being sold for $4 or so.

I figured they would head this route. I am interested to see what the filter looks like and the price for the FD3600 is $3.99, that's a really good deal especially if you throw a speed perk on top of it.
Oddly enough, I can't find the Drive on Frams site but they have a breakdown of it on AAP site's. "7,500 mile protection", nitrile drainback valve, "OE media" (whatever that means) and an ecore. A bit of an odd one for Fram it seems and not really sure why they didn't just make a rebranded extra guard. No mention of efficiency that I can see yet either.
EDIT: I should add no grippy texture and unless my eyes deceive me no bypass relief value. Personally, these aren't going on my motors lol.

Not all filters have bypass valves.
That sounds a lot like the Fram Core filters that Walmart quick lubes have.
I’m happy that Advance Auto Parts is moving to FRAM for their store filters. This gives me somewhere other than Walmart to buy FRAM oil filters for my ZTR. I DO NOT shop at Walmart.

It would be nice if there was an AAP in my area. I’m Walmart-lite but they are still somewhat essential.
I work at an AAP, we just put those on the shelf on Sunday.

Can you post some pictures of them here?
If they look like this one, it's an overpriced Champ/Luberfiner Ecore filter, which is available from Rock Auto and other places for a LOT less money. Not necessarily a bad filter for short OCIs, just a really cheap one.

My local AAP has carried the Fram Titanium and Fram Force oil filters for a few months now. Went in there a few days ago and saw a couple of boxes on the sales floor with the Fram Drive filters waiting to be put on shelf.
