Here is the Fram Core 9688 from my son's 99 Accord. 4 cyl. 215k mi. 5k oci. This was from the Walmart oil change we did. I think they used Pennzoil non syn so Im guessing it was a blend? The sign said conventional but do they still make a conventional? 5w30. Pretty much a champ build. I was happy with it. I was curios to see the what the Core. Put in St9688 which im sure is the same filter. Pennzoil Ultra 5w30. Car took the full 5 quarts. Thought it was 4.5 but it was not at the top line on dip stick so we just put it all in. Still read a bit shy of the line. Good to go! I included a picture of my high tech filter analysis station.

Where did you get the Core? I thought it was walmart shop only.
Walmart will occasionally sell them online and they also show up with the usual "overstock" and "lost freight" retailers on Ebay sometimes.
