Who has repaired a cracked corner in their foundation and how long did it last?

Recently had to repair the cracked corner in my house and just wondering if such a repair will last.
I think I did most that can be done, got some support in there, used concrete glue, packed the new concrete in there the best I could.
It turned out OK I think, just hoping it will last several years at least.

I did an identical repair for the ten years that we were there the crack never returned.
Actually did three or the corners like that.

Looks like a fine job to me.
My only question would be "what made it crack?".
It appears to me that two factors might be at work here.
1) Thermal expansion, which would push the bricks on top out .
2) Excessive load on that corner.

#2 I don't think you can do anything about. Your repair should handle that.
#1 If it is thermal expansion, you might allow that wall to slide a bit on the poured corner. It might do that now, since you didn't anchor the brick to the corner.

I've done near the same. Then a miracle occurred, my cynical geotech engineer brother approved.
I say it will hold especially if there are no further downward forces on that corner.

I guess I just agreed with the fellows above!

Might not hurt to apply concrete sealer a few feet in both directions.
