With this much data, we should all be auto oil geniuses. Note, Over 3 million post, so in here somewhere, there must be an Engine Builder Engineer, and Oil Filter Design Engineer, Transmission Design Engineer, and someone that knows how to disconnect those buzzers or bells that drive us crazy every time the door opens or when we start the car.....

Those numbers are at best deceiving.

Out of the nearly 46,000 "members", how many are actually active? How many created a login, posted a question or two, and then never returned?

Out of the 195,000 topics, how many are the same question asked over and over (thick or thin, Ford or Toyota, etc)?

And out of the 3+ million posts, how many are simply those little smiley faces? Or simply meaningless drivel serving only to raise one's post count?

While the numbers are indeed a statistic, they are a fairly meaningless statistic.
