Formula Shell

In the SL days, I have used Formula Shell for 5k and Chevron Supreme for 5k, and the drained oil is thicker for FS (and way thicker for SuperTech that I no longer used) than Chevron.

Since everyone has to use GpII and GpII+ blend to make SM, they are all pretty good and should last 5k now. Buy on price with confidence.

Isn't IsoSyn from Chevron a GpII+? If so, then it is slightly better than FS and equivalent to Pennzoil?

not up here, thats for sure. all the costcos that i've been to here in ontario carry castrol gtx, gtx diesel, castrol syntec, and formula shell. the weights vary by season. usually they have 10w30 and 5w30 year round for all but the syntec. they switch between 5w30 and 5W-50 for the syntec on and off winter.

wow, thats awesome. i wish i had that kind of selection at my costco

I thought I'd bump this for the guys who are grabbing it on closeout. Looks like mine will go in the old CRV, even the 5w-20.
