Formula Shell

Is anyone using the Formula Shell? My local autozone has it for $2.49 a quart.
I have heard good things about the Shell lineup. But mostly on their Rotella line.
So I am wondering about their Formula Shell brand.

Hi,
I have no experience with the Shell version you mention.

Shell make an excellent range of high quality lubricants and have doneso for decades. I have used their Shell Helix Ultra 5w-40 (synthetic) in many engine families over the last decade or so. All with excellent results and very stabil used oil analysis

Formula Shell is one of the best economy-priced oils around. But why aren't you purchasing your oils on sale? Haven't you been reading the threads inside the Product Rebates, Sales and Promotions Forum here at BITOG?

Do you have a Target store nearby? Most of them sell it for $1.69 a quart if I remember right. CSK has it for 50 cents but I don't think they have any of those in Virginia.

Formula Shell is $1.99/qt at Target these days, at least around here when I checked last month.

Ah okay, I haven't been there in a few months so I wasn't sure. I think last time I was there was about 2 months ago.
