93 Mercedes Benz 190e 2.3, 163123 total miles, 2966 miles on 5 quarts of 30wt. Formula Shell with 5oz. of Valvoline Syn. oil treatment. The oil filter already had 2,500 miles on it and was not changed. No makeup oil was added.

"This oil from your 2.3L Mercedes engine is so clean, it almost looks unused. If you haven't thrown it away, maybe you should start selling it to the neighbors! That, or just run it longer. The universal averages column shows typical wear from this type of engine after 4200 miles on the oil. Your oil was run nearly 3000 miles, and wear is mostly well below averages. Copper, from a bronze bushing or brass part, was slightly high but certainly not high enough to call a problem or get worried about. We did find some fuel, but it's probably from city driving & not a problem."
This is my first oil report. Any ideas about the copper levels? Thanks.
