ford tbs for 4R11/E4OD fluid change

Ford has released a TSB in the last few days i thought all 4R100/E4OD owners should know about. Ford has announced that they have authorized the use of MerconV (mercon5) for use in ALL transmissions requiring standard mercon. Also, Ford will not produce standard mercon after july of 2007 because of this. This ONLY applies to vehicles that take these two fluids

6.0 EQUIPPED VEHICLES DO NOT APPLY TO THIS. THE TORQUESHIFT TRANS TAKES A VERY SPECIAL FLUID, MERCON SP.
