ford oil specs

My 2002 ford 5.4 specs. for 5/20 oil WSS-M2C153-H . Some of the 5/20 oils out there are labeled WSS-M2C153-A. What,s the difference ,and what does it mean as far as warranty issues Thanks.

My mistake Mobil 1 for example has the spec WSS-M2C930-A not WSS-M2C153-A

In short, A=5w30, H=5w20

WSS-M2C153-H was the GF-3 spec for Ford’s 5W-20 motor oil. A copy of the spec can be viewed Here

The current Ford GF-4 spec oils are:

5W-20……..WSS-M2C930-A
5W-30……..WSS-M2C929-A

I would expect to see only the current WSS-M2C930-A on labels of any 5W-20 motor oil that has not been sitting on the shelf for a couple of years.
