My 2005Ford Focus Duratec 2.0 L PCV hose (PCV tube) replacement project has been completed. I replaced some other items under the manifold too (PCV valve, thermostat, U/L radiator hose . Yes it was Plan C (removing the IM). I replaced the hose with an OE Ford hose and some other items under the manifold too(PCV valve, thermostae, U/L radiator hose. It took me a long day even with someone there to give me a hand. I am glad that it is over and hope that the IM never has to come off again as long is I own the car.
"Plan C - my money's on you ending up here eventually so just make this step 1. Really, there's only a couple of sensor connectors to take apart and the throttle body to remove. It's not that hard and you're overthinking this, especially if you'll have a helper with any automotive/diesel experience. [/quote]"
