I've run into an odd issues with the ladies 2008 Ford Escape (V6 FWD). I don't drive the vehicle much, but noticed the other day the Tach is stuck around the 5k mark. It will react with throttle and move past the 5k mark. It seems to use that spot for the normal idle position. Everything else in the cluster works, but the tach acts funky. I've read that the clusters have issues, but most will totally kill everything.
I asked her how long has it been like this and she didn't even know it was acting up haha. Just wanted to see if anyone had a similar issue. It doesn't bother her, but I like everything to work correctly.
-Battery is in good shape and connections clean/protected
-Charging system good
