I believe that generation have the 6F35 transmission.Does the 2.0 use a different transmission it has considerably more power?
they were 6 speed autos.
Other than the power increase, what makes it better than the 1.6?better than a 1.6 though.

No power shift transmission. Normal 6 speed automatic transmission. No dipstick. Regular transmission fluid highly recommended!!!No way! If over 70-80K would not touch it.
If it has the powershift transmission, Run Forest, Run

Any one here have insight or experience with the 2.0 Ecoboosts? Considering replacing the trusty Corolla that’s been in the family since brand new. I’d like something a little quieter and possibly a little more fun for DD duties.
Specifically, I’m looking at 2013-2015 or 2020 Fusions and/or MKZ. No desire in getting the in between TSB years.
I also saw some Taurus’ came with the 2.0 EB but no mention of the Taurus in the Ford TSB. Were they safe from the open deck design through their entire run?
Main goal is to have something mostly reliable and I little more fun to drive than an...

IIRC, the Fiesta also had the powershift when equipped with the auto transmission option.yes, those have the 6f35, not the powershift. That Turd was only in the Focus.
Why do transmissions cost more than the value of the vehicle? I'm dealing with this on my neon, trying to figure out what to do. A rebuild kit is $150-$300 yet places are asking $1700-$2500 for a rebuilt transmission not including $1k for the installation. My parents have a 2016 SE 4wd with the 1.6 Ecoboost. They had a used engine installed after it grenaded itself on the highway with no warning around 100k. It’s currently parked at 133k with a bad transmission. A Ford dealer quoted them $7,500 for a rebuilt. It’s had plenty of other issues as well.
