Ford Edge 2.7 Ecoboost / Fram ch11955

Fram extra guard used for 14k kms and two years on my 2018 Ford Edge Sport with the 2.7 Ecoboost. The engine oil was changed half way for the interval (because the dealer didn’t change the oil filter when they changed the oil last time). Bulk dealer 5w30 was used. I put a tough guard in this time and Castrol Edge 5w30. This vehicle sees mainly short trips and various weather conditions causing it to idle a lot. So all in all it looks pretty good.

Looks like it held up well. Although This line of Fram filters is now rated for your mileage interval the TG is probably not priced much differently & could give you more piece of mind to hold up for the duration.

I’ve running the fram ultra version (XG11955) of this filter on my 2.7. Glad to see yours held up good, gives me peace of mind.
