Was wondering how the Fiesta Powershift transmission operated the clutch. (No I don't have one!) so watched . At about 1:44 he uses a circlip removal tool. Looks like it is made specifically for the circlips ford uses. Similar to the ones in their Fiesta 5 speed manual transmissions. Never seen any for sale like that. The ones you can usually get at stores or online just kind of work. I was finally able to remove circlips from my 5 speed using the regular circlip tool. That got the clip to spread just enough that I could attach a miniature vice grip to the opposite side and pull it out with out destroying the clip.
He also uses a bung to plug into the output shaft holes so you don't spill fluid moving the transmission around when removing it from the car. Is there a source for them?
