Do some people think their Powerstroke engines are made in the USA?

They are fairly high out put engines build to the lowest cost of manufacturing standards. Made in USA is what I would prefer yet the nation of manufacture doesn't necessarily mean the quality will be the best or the worst.
 
There have been performance shops that have put 1000whp through these cranks without a problem. It’s not a power problem, but definitely seems to point to harmonics. Hence the revised balancer for the later models, and just about every one has broken in the same spot (right behind the 1/5 journal).
 
There are longblocks available from Ford. However they keep going on backorder with no ETA. Along with the install kits that has all of the One Time Use hardware.
