As we are a diverse, multi-cultural family group, we are having a joint Passover/Easter holiday celebration.

We are having difficulty finding a Kosher for Passover Easter Ham.

Grocery stores around here have specials around the holidays if you spend at least $50. I got my ham for $0.79 per pound. Spiral sliced hams were $0.89 per pound.

Ordered mine from a local farm/smoke house. I can't wait. 22-23lbs. Gonna make some mashed potatoes, green beans, carrots and a smidge of mashed sweet potatoes. My wife is handling dessert. We are doing it all on Greek Easter (the 12th).

Because some of our family is travelling for Easter/Spring break and won't be here on April 5, we had the Easter dinner on Palm Sunday. 14 people in the house made short work of a spiral cut ham, big aluminum pan of mac and cheese and one of beans and onions. Pickled eggs on the side for those who would eat them. Cheesecake from Costco for dessert.
