Poor girl. I just don't see how a 10 year old kid could do anything to deserve that kind of abuse. It's sickening.
The stepmother may be able to bargain no life sentence/no death penalty, but I think it is likely some of her fellow inmates will serve the justice the state won't...I can only hope so anyway.

Actually, the better option would be set her loose inside a maximum security male prison, and let the male inmate take care of her, the old fashion way.

People who do stuff like this to children should either be executed or imprisoned in solitary confinement till the time they die. They should never be permitted to be alive and free again. Reading of this case is as heartbreaking as it is disgusting.
