I used to travel with a co-worker like that. If our flight was at, say, 11:00 he always figured we'd be fine if we returned the rental car at 10:30 and made it to the gate about 10:45. Of course, there's always a delay somewhere along the line - a big crowd at the rental place, or shuttles running late from the rental place to the terminal, or a huge line at security. It was always a panic at the last minute.

I must have made a "watch list" for some reason.

DFW always makes me go through the "explosive sniffing plexigas booth". Always. Other than that, DFW is quick and easy.

We fly into Dayton because it is literally half the price of flying into Cincinnati. The TSA agents scrutinize everything.
"What's this?"
"An MP3 player."
"It has a lot of wires."
"Those are the headphones."
"And this?"
"a travel size tube of toothpaste...."
"and these?"
"Those are my keys."
"Whats with the trasmitter?"
"It's how I unlock my car."

Maybe it's because I do not check any baggage. I travel light. Years of riding a motorcycle instead of owning a car and being an armored crewman with 3 other guys in a cramped space means I can force what I need into a small space. I'm sure some former Navy personnel can relate to this.

Maybe they think I'm the next Timothy McVeigh. I've never posted anything anywhere that showed any sympathy for that coward and traitor. I'm not any kind of "truther". I did receive a copy of "Red Flag", the communist newspaper in high school. I thought it was misguided and hilarious. But I did get one. Was receiving a communist newspaper during the Reagan administration the reason?

Crabby people, as evidenced a bit on this board. I had to listen to some old [censored] complain to me and our seat neighbor for an entire hour about noisy children. I am too nice.

Filthy planes due to cleaning crews and passengers alike.

Blame the irresponsible parents for letting their noisy children disturb other passengers, of course annoyed customers need to complain to the airline staff, NOT other customers.
