Fluctuating Oil Level

One thing I've learn about having the oil changed, is never give or allow them to top it off to the manual specs.. the Connect specs shows 4.8 I typically allow for 4.5 then check the level the following morning on a level surface.

Our Silverado is exceptionally finicky to level ground. It will vary by 1/2 quart on even the slightest incline
