I was going to let someone borrow my 2 TON trolley floor jack today but found it missing the saddle assembly. Does anyone know where these might be sold? If I can't find one I will have to just make one.

Someone well off said to only lend money if you can afford to never get it back. (This person did lend money to a point, she was generous I would say).

some of them just sit in a recessed hole with a matching solid piece welded on the bottom of the saddle. It could have fallen out when he lifted it onto a truck bed.

That's right. Mine was lost when the jack was carried in a open trailer.
