The bypass valve with the brown phenolic type material disk also looks similar to some Purolator models.

The metal screen behind the micro glass media is like our old favorite. I don’t think there is going to be any tearing going on. I’m going to try to find one for my next OC.

Very likely a purchased-finished filter. No filter company makes 100% of the filters they sell. It's common that we'll buy lower volume parts versus making them.
