Fleetguard FF5814 Shorter alternative

Hi,
I'm looking for a Fleetguard FF5814 that is less than 6" tall. I'm trying to keep it from hanging below a frame rail. Is there such a thing?
1"-14 thread size. Less than 3.625" diameter. Prefer NanoNet technology. Gasket size doesn't matter so much as its sealing against a flat plate.

Fleetguard doesn't provide results by spec, only application. FWIW, the application is a FASS Pump and filter combo.

Hey there, just seeing this message. I might be able to help with this...what kind of application is this going on? Just thinking about necessary flow rate to understand the need.

Hi, Thanks for your reply. I was hoping it'd get your attention as you seem to be "the guy".

Application is for a 2015 Chevy Duramax 6.6l with an after market FASS pump and 2 filter combo. At some point FASS changed their filters to use a Water Separator without a drain. I want to go back to using a W/S with a drain. It was suggested that I use a Fleetguard FS1001 as a W/S and an FF5814. They're both too tall where they're mounted now and the drain nipple got caught on some branches.

What I've found is a Wix 33383 to use as a pre filter W/S which is 19 micron, and then use the FF5814 which is 2 micron. I'd like to shorten the FF5814 by about 1" without losing the 2 micron rating.

Let me know what you think, or if you have a better solution.
