Nope, that charger does only one battery at a time and that's why I suggested buy a pair if you want to charge two 18650.

The 3600 Ultrafire is worse than the 2400 Trustfire Flame. The best Japanese cell can do about 2700. Anything listed above will be fake.

If you like shiny and bright things, you might get sucked in this. There are few forums devoted to flashlights just like for oils.

Yes, that is a good lithium only charger and it will charge your 18650 lot faster too. I just prefer foldable plug type; they are easy to carry around but they are slow.

Uhh... so apparently this 1251 charger I linked to above doesn't work with Trustfire protected 18650 batteries. The batteries are too large to fit because the end tabs are angled inwards. I tried to straighten the tabs and ended up breaking one.

The one I had recommended does work with the TF protected. HOWEVER, even with the same SKU number, the actual product becomes different over period of time.

If you got it from DealExtreme, open a trouble ticket and include the digital picture of the broken charger. They will send you replacement or you could ask for a different type which will fit the TF protected. Check the latest reviews on DX website.

Cree XML lights (there are even Triple XMLs available) are just amazing and if this is your first XML, it will impress you a lot.

Will they make me ship the current one back? If so, the cost of the return shipping to China will be more than what the charger was worth. I already placed an order for a different one.

No; if it is to be shipped back, it gets shipped back to their warehouse in USA (Florida?). I believe they cover the shipping.

Once you get your charger, order another TF protected set and then go for a Triple XML flashlight. I have seen them as cheap as $35 but do make sure that you buy the one which will take at least two 18650 batteries. I have not personally made that jump yet though!

You would need it to be multi-mode because on high it will be like having a car headlight in your hand. You also want to make sure that in low mode it has no perceptible flicker (i.e. no PWM flicker). You will have to do some research unless you want to wait until I take the plunge first
