For the Ford Truck + Triton engine guys out there.....I've used the M1 filter(210) and the K+N filter(2010) on my 5.4L v8 and both could'nt stop the noise(3-5 sec's) in the morning like the mc fl820s. I guess the difference was the
ADBV. Amsoil eao oil filters claim a longlasting high quality "silicone" ADBV, just like the MC. Any Ford guys have good experiences with this oil filter - Amsoil eao 11?
thanks

My 2001 Taurus 3.0L 'Duratec' V-6 specs Motorcraft FL820S oil filter, but when I purchased it last year, it had a....gulp.....Fram installed. I was keen on Wix so that was quickly changed to 51367 filters and used until recently.

Just changed oil within the past week however and installed Amsoil EA011 filter concurrently. Currently have less than 200 miles on it, but it seems to be doing well. Amsoil ADBV is orange in colour, therefore I assume it is composed of silicone.
