Fixing boot on ball joint

Have you tried the dealer? Honda, for example, sells the boots separately for two or three bucks, if I remember right. Tore one on my Accord before I learned the trick...

The dealer if they had them would only sell him what he already has, a boot and two split rings.
He would still have to put it on. Back to square one but instead of only one ring to get on now he would have two.

I'm usually working on BMWs, which have no dealer or listed aftermarket boots. And suspension parts can be expensive.

Exactly. Boot is perfect. its a s simple as how do I open and close up that ring so that I can get the boot back on... Nothing more, nothing less.
 
If that was geasable you could just get a boot from energy suspension, though I don't think it would seal well enough for a non-servicable rod end.
