Totally emasculated asking this but my frustration is worse than the embarrassment! Woke up to the first snow of the year here. Only an inch and a half but wet and a snow brush were needed. I've tried $ cheap ones and they sux! Bristles take a useless form or the cheap plastic breaks when used to scrape ice. Expensive $$$ ones seem to be more gimmicky and haven't faired better for me.

I'd love to hear some recommendations.....Sometimes it is the little things in life that nag at ya!

I have this expensive ($30) car wash brush mounted on a 6 ft. handle that I use at home. The bristles are stiff enough to move snow but the split ends seem to be very scratch resistant. I have used it for years and do not see micro marring on my car. It is super convenient (for the lazy part of me) and worth the cost. I have some 24 inch store bought model inside the car in case we need it while traveling. Longer is better.

This handled our first snow (4") quick and easy this morning. https://www.grainger.com/product/TOUGH-GUY-10-in-Foam-Car-Wash-Brush-3A338
A high powered leaf blower works too!

I bought a Michelin one last spring for $1.50 on clearance. Last time I was at the store they were back and only $20

I've always driven junk and used a plastic roof rake. Aiktovi's foam one looks like an improvement though, and what I've seen the car dealers use.

Clean up your garage and park in there :)

Apparently, I have a stalker! Visions of the movie "Misery" in my mind!!

That would pose a few issues. One bay is full of woodworking equipment and the other bay is full of my kids sports equipment and we have 9 bikes in this family. Just as important, I don't really stay home just because of snow. I'd still need a brush/scraper.

They're all pretty cheap. I look for the ones that allow the brush head to be turned perpendicular to the shaft as it's easier to pull snow off the top and hood of the car than try and brush it sideways.

I've tried a few different things over the years but nothing works like a Snow Joe. They can move a lot of snow in short amount of time, which is nice when it's really cold out.

Only issue is the handle, a lot of complaints about it spinning in the plastic piece that screws into the head and sure enough mine did that but the good new is any paint or broom handle will work. I had an old telescoping handle laying around from when I painted the garage.

That's basically what I use for Colorado winters. The extendable is absolutely necessary for full size trucks (esp 4wd 3/4t+) and the brush pivoting 90* really helps for storage.

Mine's not exactly like your Michelin but same principles. Mine came from AutoZone on clearance but I've seen mine at WM and other places branded differently.

Snow brushes right now at the parts stores are like wipers and bulbs: they know if you're there, you need it and will pay nearly anything. I reco shopping WM or Amazon to avoid the Ben Dover tax.

As for scratching paint....I don't own anything nice enough to care, and there's a certain freedom in that ;)
