So I used the dealer oil changes and finally did my own today (first day of decent weather!). While the car sits high enough that removing the drain bolt and getting my pan under was easy, Nissan apparently expects a 5 year old to remove the filter. I had to resort to taking a 3" piece of plastic shielding down to get my hand in. Another .5" off the shield and I think I could have gotten there. I never thought it could get worse than my 2000 CRV, but at least that one I get get to without removing anything. Another couple years and I might have to let someone else change my oil. Getting older isn't Nissan's fault though.
