I am currently using firefox for the first time, and while I find it to be fast and easy to use, I am having some issues with secure websites that I use for my work. I am a mortgage broker, and entering one of my bank's secure sites it tells me that I do not have access after I enter my user name and password. It's not rejecting my name or password, it's just not allowing me into the page. What's the deal? Is there an extension that I'm missing?

This is normally cookie problem.

Check Tools->Options->Privacy. Make sure you have enable cookies. You may have accidentally blocked your website's cookie as well, in which case you'll need to unblock it (under Exceptions... in cookies).

Citibank addressed the issue for me.
Re- install Firefox, check custom install and then check developer tools.
This works better but still some problems.
Other sites still present problems.

Although now I question the whole premise of using it for better security.
They just went from version 0.9.1 to 0.9.2
The reason ??? a security hole patch !!
Sounds just like MS to me ....

0.9.2 has more problems for me than 0.9 did. I think the stability took a step backwards. Perhaps use Opera until a sorted Firefox 1.0 comes along.

though it's been a while, i do remember about some banks that only accept ie on windows.

this is bad if you run mozilla on a mac.

Don't kid yourselves...I've been lounging the web long enough to know that NOTHING is 100% secure. I don't think MOZILLA said Firefox is 100%. Just they respond quickly and aren't such a huge target!

I have had zero issues, and 0.9.2 has been really stable for me.

My only gripe: I can't run the Fidelity tool bar.
