Hi guys,

After being recommended to the Lubegard by some of the guys on here, I did some digging locally.

None of the Jobber shops carried it, BUT the transmission places did.

I spoke with one of their reps over the phone, and he was really helpfull.

It seems like a great product, and if any of you are having trouble finding it, check the tranny shops.

I'm wondering if that was just NAPA U.S.

I called the NAPA local to me, and even gave them their part number for it, and it didn't register.

Is it really worth adding Lube Guard to good ATF's like Amsoil Universal or Redline D4 ?

Are you planning to use it in M3 ?

I think so.

My biggest issue is the heat thing. Its supposed to help the transmission run slightly cooler, which is always a plus. I'm adding a transmission cooler in the Jeep in the spring, but not in the Mazda. The Jeep sees slightly harder use, and my wife has a tender foot, so I figure the Lubegard is a good comprimise for the mazda.

I'd rather use a premium fluid than to try and home-brew my own. I've used Lubegard ATF supplement with no noticeable improvement. I did notice the improvement with Lubegard power steering supplement...immediately easier steering effort.

NAPA auto parts stores are individual franchisees. Each franchisee makes their choice of which non-NAPA brand stuff to carry.
