After 7500k on the MC house oil that the dealer put at the last OC, I decided to violate the OLM and change it NOW. I did a 5qt Jug of Pennzoil YB 5w30 & a half QT of Trop-artic 10w30 blend & a Supertech filter (surprisingly a good quality filter).
In the OM is specifies 5.5 qts but online it says it should take 6 qts with the filter. But after doing 5.5 and then driving it, it was still on the full mark on the dip stick on level ground so I left it at 5.5 qts. Anyone else have this engine and have the same results of 5.5 being the correct fill instead of 6 qts???
