Filter cutter

I made a filter cutter using my drill press vice.
The cutter wheels can be purchased at Home Depot.
The bearings came from my stash.
This cutter can be used on almost any size filter by reversing the cutter mounts.
Restore to original configuration when not needed to cut filters.

I had to make my own cutter wheel out of PH4140.
These cutter wheels you bought from HD are used for what??? Meaning what are they sold as?

The cutters are replacments for pipe cutters

The bolt diameter attaching the cutters is a little smaller than the hole in the wheel. Double nut the bolt with a washers between the nuts and the cutter to shim the cutters to the right height. Same for the bearings.
