In New Jersey, gas pumps you! [/Yakov Smirnoff]

$3.29 - $3.35 for regular unleaded here.

I quite enjoyed the 50 cents/gallon lower gas price when living in SC. During the oil price crash a few years ago I filled up several times for under $2/gallon, and once at $1.43 back in early 2009.

Sounds like a good deal you got there.

They have a similar thing going on with a familiar grocery chain around here...only you save 10 cents if you spend a 100 dollars.

Call me what you will but I will not spend a 100 to save 2 bucks on a fill up. My truck has a 25 gallon tank anyway.

On another note....this grocery chain has their card you use to save money on groceries. Okay..that's cool I guess. BUT...if you don't have a card, they will scan one that is laying there by the register.

Now tell me how a store makes any money doing this? Certainly not by sales volume in this store!
Seems to me they could do just as well without the card. Then maybe there is more to this than I know.

Gasoline is 2.91 a gallon here for regular unleaded.

Cheap gas, and don't have to get out of the car and get your hands dirty - works for me!
