You don't like poking their beehives?

Growing up in Boston in the 70's and 80's you saw many fights and participated in just as many. You had to learn to be prepared at all times. It was best to be with at least two other people since the more the better. Caught alone and face the consequences.

Moving to Florida was a breath of fresh air, literally. I actually was able to to learn that not everyone was out to beat you up. That people, and strangers could be nice.

It is best to fight with your brain and not your fists.

Since I got my first black belt in 1987, I've only been in about half a dozen real fights. Thankfully, never lost one yet. I've seen more than I wish I had.
I enjoy watching sporting competitions like UFC, boxing and karate tournaments, but those are not fights, they're contests.
Real fights are usually not pretty and not much fun to be in or to witness.
