I thought it was supposed to be something different...

Spiced as in all-spice, clove, etc... It is unique and does taste different from typical spam. Maybe even a touch of citrus?

Either way, it's good if you are fine with spam itself.

I'm not particularly ok with SPAM.
I was willing to try this, but not if it's actually flavored pork.
I mean, WHY?
As if SPAM isn't weird enough why would they call orange-spiced faux ham "figgy pudding" when is not cake, pudding, or doesn't contain figs?

Here's a regular, SPAM-free figgy pudding. I poured rum over it and lit it but I was not able to capture the weak colors of the burning alcohol.
