So I'm driving with my grand niece Tatiana on Los Gatos Blvd after servicing her beloved Civic, "Rhonda". I see this kinda squished SUV in drop dead gorgeous red pulling out of the Tesla dealership. I wonder, "Is that some kinda new Benz SUV EV or ?" Then the sound; pure heaven.

Then I saw the Prancing Horse. Ferrari Purosangue, V-12, 700+ HP. Then he hit it and was gone... The sound!
Wow! All I can tell you is, pictures fail...

That experience is exactly why I call our soulless, whirring Plaid, boring.

And this is why the likes of Jeremy Clarkson, Jay Leno, myself and most of you all will say that you cant get that type of joy from a EV. Just the exhaust note 🎶 alone.. And then the gears start to turn with ideas of how to make it louder and faster. Viva Petrolheads!!

That is a beauty. Is that the same color as the one you saw?

My E350 is also named Rhonda, particularly the Rhonda in the the Beach Boys song. It was supposed to help me get over the SL550 that was wrecked when I was hit in an intersection.

Yes, that's the color. The reason I thought it was a Mercedes was the fabulous paint; it was stunning. Again, pictures fail.

My grand niece, Tatiana, is a great kid. She joined the Marine Corps right outta high school (she's very athletic) and is ready for her next chapter. I take young people to our local Community Colleges and Universities. Just walking the grounds just might change a life.

Call me a heretic for thinking anything but superlatives about the Daytona....but I prefer the looks of the short-lived derivative:

If we're talking about four seat front engine V-12s, I've always liked this widely disdained Ferrari:

The subtle yet classic lines are still very attractive to me, and not at all dated like those of the 275 GTB posted by another member above.
Best of all, a decent example of one of these might be the cheapest ticket to Ferrari ownership, certainly the cheapest for a V-12 example.
These are all grey market cars here, but sticks are available although the automatic would probably be okay as well and I shudder (pun intended) to think of what a clutch for one of these dears would run.
