My opinion would be that a Win 1400 with IC choke would be a 2 3/3" slug gun extraordinare(sp). I/C or openbore are allways reccomended for slugs.

The boy is behind the hog. The use of a wide angle lens from a close distance introduces a considerable amount of foreshortening. This exaggerates the difference in size between objects that are not at the same distance from the camera. Let me steal WolfCub's picture to demonstrate:

Note the exaggerated proportions: the huge front paw and hind leg versus the tiny body and hind leg.

Thanks. I was thinking that as well. I called Winchester and was told a Foster type slug in 20ga would be fine in that gun. Off to Academy Sports for a little additional variety in the ammo supply.
