Feature I never saw before on a sedan- pass through leg rest

The Century is an exemplar of the range of Toyota's engineering and manufacturing talent.
The V-12 is a thing of beauty.
One can buy one of these for very reasonable money in the US and there are a number available.
This would be a neat car to have and use, although RHD might be a bit of a pain, especially in such a large car.

It would be a pretty neat vehicle to own and cruise around with, if the RHD isn’t a hassle.

That option would never work in the US, as no driver would allow a pair of stinky feet riding next to them.

And if they did - no CEO in their right mind would do that, as they'd get facebooked / tweeted to hell and back.

The culture about body parts proximity AND what a boss can and cannot do is very different in Japan.

Also, the v12 is the old one. It's gone now, replaced by a v8 and probably by a hybrid soon.

AND the interior pictured is not the most luxuriously one - it's leather. That's for run off the mill CEOs.
The most luxurious version comes in cloth and lace. They go above leather.

Styling certainly makes it Last Century.
The rear reminds me of a late 70s Mercury Marquis... the barge one before the 1978 downsizing. But in a good, timeless way.

That car's styling is amazing-- the proportions, the greenhouse, the leather.

The Volvo S90 may be competition-- it's not advertised much but is an unapologetic luxury sedan.
