Favorite fruits/vegetables during summer time....

Pick it in the heat of the evening, put in in the frig, eat it the next morning. YUM!!!!

"Hadley Grass" is local = asparagus is about the 1st round here.
"Everything' is next & continuous.
For the northern guy who likes tomatoes above, our 90 day growing season is pretty short. We stuck some 'hi hoops' in the ground. Double layer of poly w/air space between is a good insulator. Gets rolled up onto the frames 3 mo for the nice climate, down the rest. 75 foot long, planned out so the tractor can cultivate the middle rows (height) we hand (still lots of mechanized) the edges. Lettus, spinach, etc in Dec & Jan, brusscle sprouts cabbage in late April.
