Favorite energy drink

Once in a blue moon I'll have a mountain dew but it's rare I consume caffine. Can't drink coffee and typically enjoy decaf tea with a splash of honey from a local bee keeper.

The overnight never got me. The getting up at 4 for the day shift is usually when I need a kick in the rear but lunch normally takes care of that. The rest of the guys in here on bankers hours consume pots of coffee... I don't understand it.

If I have monster or red bull its usually with a shot of Jäger or vodka... and apparently that's frowned upon in the work place so it's reserved for only the most excellent of parties now.

Come work with me.... We have a guy who drives what we call "The Silverado Saloon" and I don't think I've ever seen him sober. Excellent machinist, still terrifying 🤷‍♂️

That's both funny and terrifying. I've come to work hungover many times. I'd never come in and drink on the job or be under the influence of anything for that matter. Now if you call me in on my days off because of an emergency... you get what you get and I may need a ride.

Nasty as you wanna be!! No lectures from The Pablo about sugar or fake sugar here .I AM a caffeine addict.

Espresso with cocoa powder, washed down with water, followed with green and black tea brewed together.
If I drank that I think I would be awake for like five days

So a sugar free 200mg caffeine drink is bad but folks who drink a ton of coffee is no issue?
I didnt mention coffee in my post ... but you can do the research, you will be surprised by the results I would think.
Simple coffee beans ground and brewed vs a corporate concoction of chemicals....
Hmmmm ... there is your answer

So let's see, water is best ... but your response to me for some reason is based on coffee.

Lets do the math and figure out which is a corporate concoction ...

Coffee ingredients = ground coffee beans and water

Monster zero sugar ultra -
Ingredients
Carbonated Water, Citric Acid, Erythritol, Taurine, Sodium Citrate, Natural & Artificial Flavors, Panax Ginseng Flavor, L-Carnitine L-Tartrate, Caffeine, Sucralose, Sorbic Acid (Preservative), Benzoic Acid (Preservative), Niacinamide (Vit. 3), D-Calcium Pantothenate (Vit. B5), Acesulfame Potassium, Inositol, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (Vit. B6), Cyanocobalamin (Vit. B12).

Lets pick just one of possibly hundreds of chemicals in this drink
Sucralose - 600 times sweeter than natural sugar (I would much prefer sugar though I dont use that either)
"The consumption of sucralose, a commonly used artificial sweetener, is associated with various adverse health effects. Despite being considered safe following previous studies, recent research suggests possible links to systemic inflammation, metabolic diseases, disruptions in gut microbiota, liver damage, and toxic effects at the cellular level"

That above is only one of other known and unknown chemicals in this frankenbrew

And yet meaningless when its probably way less than 1% of someone's overall diet. Do you ever drink a drop of alcohol let's start with that.

Alcohol, with moderation and when it's a wine or a spirit type have some health benefits.
Potential benefits:
  • Some studies have found that moderate drinkers had lower mortality rates, compared to abstainers or heavy drinkers.
  • Research has found the risk of diabetes is lower in those who consume alcohol moderately.
  • Several studies have displayed lower risk of dementia or decreased cognitive decline over time with mild to moderate alcohol intake.
  • Moderate alcohol intake can reduce the risk of developing gallstones.
  • Evidence suggests that mild to moderate alcohol consumption decreases the risk of coronary heart disease and cardiovascular mortality.

Chocolate Premier Protein poured over ice, mix in a double shot of espresso and a teaspoon of sugar. Off and running.... And vibrating a little.
