I liked "Cars" by Pixar. Sure it was a "kids" movie, but they slid in some good lessons for the little ones and it's enjoyable to watch.

When I was a teen, I watched it 13 times in one weekend.

Could recite the entire script.

A few Mad Max highlights, a replica, with number plates MFP006 drove through town a few months ago, and a few years ago, I was at an Indian Restaurant, and "the Goose" ate at the table next to us.

Some early-vintage car movies:

Johnny Dark, starring Tony Curtis, 1954. Produced with the help of the California Chapter of the SCCA back in the 50's. Early sports cars in an open road race.

The Racers, starring Kirk Douglas, 1955. Good footage of 1950's sports and F1 racers.
