Sad news indeed. It's funny how you may not know a member from a forum in the same sense that you know your friends that you see daily, but after years of membership, you get that sense in a certain way. BlueOvalFitter came across as a genuinely nice person and a great human being.

Maybe we should have a separate memorial section listing all the past members with a brief bio so they can me remembered for as long as BITOG is around.

Very sad to hear. Had multiple conversations over the years and donated oil for his community work. Truly a wonderful human being. He will be missed.

This is terribly sad…

I would like to say I am surprised but I’m not in all honesty. BOF and I sent PMs and even txt msgs.

He told me his medical history and I was surprised how much he had been through… And it was a whole lot.

He was in pain quite a bit that was very hard on him. Plus the loss of physical abilities that were substantial. And had been that way for awhile too.

My heart goes out to his family and friends. He was a true Cajun and obviously a good, good man.
