"Famous" relatives?

Not directly related, but my grandfather was good friends with Walt Disney, he lived in Anaheim before Disneyland came along.

One of my cousin is the vice secretary general of the 7th largest city in China, not sure if it is considered "famous".

I'm famous in my company because every previous company I've worked for went bankrupt when I leave, and when I tell them I'm leaving, everyone got nervous.

My cousin is married to some guy who is keyboardist and sideman for a number of artists, including Alice Cooper, Billy Idol, Yngwie Malmsteen, Kiss, and Zakk Wylde.

Derek Sherinian has been called the "King of the Keys" by Guitar World Magazine and the "Caligula of keyboards" by Alice Cooper.

On my father's side, his great-grandfather was a soldier in the Civil War, and fought at the Battle of Ft. Fisher, which was guarding Wilmington, the last major Southern port to fall.

I have a relative on the Declaration of Independence, Abraham Clark. What a coincidence! Clark is my mom's family name, I use it as a first name.

Andy Petree of NASCAR is a distant cousin.

My grandmother (Dad's mother) was related to two presidents, John Adams and John Quincy Adams, so I guess that makes them some kind of great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great grand fathers.

The fine arts department at Oklahoma City College is named after my cousins. I guess that would only be important to someone that went there.
