Its what fasion is turning into imo. Trends and fasion change. I think most of you are a little behind in todays times. What i mean by that is go to a current school/high school everything is different from “the good old days”. Well you probaly cant hang around a high school theyd think your a person with no good intentions lol but you get my point? Look at all these newer singers/entertainers. There covered in tats face to toes. Its becoming normal imo. I also have gauges in my ears. Just recently i had a man in his 60’s yell at me when i was grocery shopping. He yelled “whatd you do that for?” I kinda look around and he says “no you im talking to you” then he says “ if god wanted those holes in your ears he would've put them there.” I smile and carry on. Im not gonna argue with some old man stuck in his days.
If you're taking your cues for "normal" from entertainers, you're in for a lot of disappointment...
Let's hope, for your sake, that face tattoos and gauges are a more persistent fashion trend than, say, parachute pants....
You should've read the enthusiasm and defense of those "back in the day". Sounded a lot like, well, your arguments above.
I was behind the times when I didn't buy parachute pants, of course, and clearly out of fashion wearing those terrible old 501 Levi's. So "old". So out of touch.
Had I followed the trend back then, however, my mistakes would have been relegated to my closet (and probably Goodwill) and not on my face forever.
